School history
Anderdon Central School originally replaced 5 individual school houses that were throughout the former township of Anderdon. The grand opening of the school was Sept. 29th, 1952. 163 pupils were registered. The first principal was Paul Reaume with a staff of five which included: Mrs. Chevalier, Mrs. Allard, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Leitch and Mr. Veres. The first addition to the school came in 1957, followed by additional construction in 1960, 1965, 1969, 2012. Most recently (2020-2022) Anderdon school has undergone infrastructure improvements to our windows, ventilation and boiler systems.
